Mr. Casellas has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry.   He holds an MBA in Finance from Boston College and a BS in Finance and Marketing from Syracuse University.  He also attended the College of Insurance in New York.   He holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation.

Prior to co-founding CL&C, he was President of CF&O Insurance Brokers, Inc.  Mr. Casellas also served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Casellas & Company, Inc. an independent local insurance brokerage firm in Puerto Rico.  Prior to entering the insurance field, Mr. Casellas was Assistant Treasurer at the Corporate Finance Division of the Chase Manhattan Bank where he completed their Management Training Program in New York City.

Mr. Casellas serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of The Baldwin School of Puerto Rico and as a member of the Board of Directors of Caparra Country Club. 

Mr. Casellas oversees the firm’s construction and employee benefits departments.  He also oversees part of the commercial lines practice.
