Mrs. Suárez has over 3 years of experience in the insurance industry in Puerto Rico and over 20 years of experience in the banking industry.  She holds a Masters Degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado University and a BBA Degree Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico.  Mrs. Suárez is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Board of the Directors of the CPA Association of Puerto Rico, where she holds the position of President Elect.

Mrs. Suárez is the  head of the Financial Lines and Specialty Lines Department at CL&C. Prior to joining CL&C, Mrs. Suárez served as Vice President and Regional Manager of the Financial Lines Department at AIG in Puerto Rico.  She has also served as Credit Risk VP at the Bank and Trust for Puerto Rico from 2002-2004, President of The Economic Development Bank for Puerto Rico from 1993-2000, and held various management positions at Citibank, N.A. and Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. in Puerto Rico.
